Errol Collins founded Diva Nutritional Products in 1990 as a home-based business. It was based on his research in soya and its application in alleviating hunger in the world.

In 1993 Diva Nutritional Products commenced as a family-owned business situated in Kommetjie, south of Cape Town, on the Peninsula in the Western Cape, providing nutritional products for use by institutions caring for malnourished individuals and people with HIV/Aids. In 2008 Diva entered the therapeutic food market and became a supplier of therapeutic foodstuffs to international and local aid organisations, into programmatic countries.

Diva has grown over the last 27 years into a significant supplier of specialised foods and supplements and supplies both the local and international market place.

Diva is ISO22000 compliant through SGS, a testimony to our commitment to quality and traceability of all our products. Diva is regularly inspected for quality by UNICEF and MSF and other international aid organisations as the need arises.

Facilities & Technology

A uniquely designed production facility in Heron Park Kommetjie, and multiple warehousing facilities in Cape Town, is where Diva operates from. All our products on offer, are manufactured and distributed from these facilities.

Storage and Distribution Facilities

Diva’s warehousing layout covers a combined area of approximately 8000 m², providing balance between production requirements and customer needs. The latest technology of live pallet storage is used to optimise floor area.

Diva is also well situated to take advantage of the Cape Town harbour, to get food aid products shipped and delivered in emergency situations. Diva distributes its products globally, through various international, multi-national, local aid organisations and NGO’s. Through the many years in operation, Diva has positively impacted on the health of 3 million children in Africa, the Middle-East, and the Far-East, ever increasing our global footprint.

Production Facilities and Technology

The production facilities expand over approximately 4000 m² of floor area, housing equipment designed with food safety in mind, for its intended use. Customised conveying and transport methods are used to protect our sensitive food from the extreme weather of Cape Town.

Our production facilities manufacture a wide range of therapeutic and supplementary nutritional food products, with the use of the latest technology, food science and a dynamic operations team.

Expansion to manufacture in the countries where the need for these products are, is one of the core focuses at Diva. As drive towards sustainable development goals, we have invested, and will continue to invest, in various African countries as manufacturing partners.

Technical Facilities

Due to the strict parameters of nutritional food products, Diva has its own quality control laboratory, analysing products before supplying it to its customers.
